Joyce Collings (second from left), vice president and trust officer of Vision Bank, presents the Boswell Memorial Trust award to Dr. Karla Peterson as an outstanding member of East Central University's business administration faculty. Peterson received a stipend based on income from the S.C. Boswell Memorial Charitable Trust and will sponsor the Boswell Lecture on a business-related topic on Nov. 5. On hand for the presentation were Dr. William Chapman (from left), interim dean of the School of Business; Dr. Richard Rafes, ECU president; and Debbie Griffin, executive director of the ECU Foundation Inc. Peterson is director of ECU's Center for Entrepreneurship.
