The East Central University Police Department provides uniformed state certified police officers for enforcement of local, state, and federal laws 24 hours per day. Officers are available to students or employees needing access to buildings or residences after hours upon request and presentation of proper identification. Around-the-clock car and foot patrol is maintained on campus property. A no-tolerance policy on alcohol and drugs is upheld on all East Central University property. All local,
state, and federal laws will be enforced by the East Central University Police Department.
East Central University has referral counseling on drug and alcohol abuse available to employees and students.
Informational programs on drug and alcohol abuse are offered for any student groups or employees.
Seminars and programs on self-protection, safety precautions, rape and personal property theft prevention
are available to any student, student group, or employee of East Central University.
