The Department of Education provides an in-house PearsonVue testing center where teacher candidates and those seeking certification or enrollment can take their required Certification Examinations for Oklahoma Educators (CEOE) or Miller’s Analogy Test (MAT). All certification exams for Oklahoma educators are offered including those for counselors and administrators.

Currently the Test Center is open for those who have scheduled their CEOE (OGET, OSAT, OPTE) exams through the Pearson website on Monday and Tuesday evenings from 4:00 p.m.- 9:00 p.m, as well as one Saturday a month. To register for the CEOE tests or browse test information or study guides, visit at www.ceoe.nesinc.com.

To register for the MAT, please contact Joshua Vaughn at 580-559-5349. To pay for the MAT, you will need to bring a check or money order made out to CEP Testing Center (College of Education and Psychology Testing Center). If you need to pay with a debit or credit card, you will first need to go to the Bursar’s office (Adm. 108), inform them that you are paying for the Miller Analogy Test, pay for the test in that office, and then bring the payment receipt to the testing center. The cost of the test is $75. The MAT tests are given on an appointment-only basis.

Whether taking a CEOE test or the MAT, the admitting office is in Room 215D and the tests are completed in 215C of the Lanoy Education Building. Room 215 is found to the right at the top of the ramp in the middle of the building. All tests require two forms of I.D. during check-in. All personal belongings will be placed in a locker. You can retrieve your personal items when you complete your test.
