Music Programs
The Department of Performing Arts offers the following music degree programs: bachelor of science degree with Music majors in the Instrumental concentration, the Instrumental Teacher Certification concentration, the Vocal concentration and the Vocal Teacher Certification concentration. Each area has options designed as preparation for careers in concert, theater, media performance or as teacher-preparation leading to kindergarten through high school certification.
Theatre & Musical Theatre Programs
The Department of Performing Arts offers degree concentrations to students in Musical Theatre. Performance Studies majors participate in a broad variety of activities. They perform and teach stage productions, represent the university in intercollegiate speech and debate competition, and participate in the American College Theatre Festival. Minors are also offered in Theatre.
