The Bachelor of Fine Arts with an Arts Education concentration prepares ECU students for careers as Art Teachers in pre-kindergarten through grade twelve. These students are prepared in a wide variety of media, but with an emphasis on utilizing their artistic skills to assist children to develop their artistic vision. Students are prepared in the aspects of producing art, critiquing art, art history, and aesthetics through a critical pedagogic philosophy.
