Presently the ECU Art Department offers a full
range of studios and equipment for painting, printmaking,
sculpture, ceramics, digital imaging, and jewelry.
A completely
digitalized art history classroom permits attractive
presentations and screenings. At the Art Department’s Student
Gallery, our students’ work is exhibited alongside with the work
of nationally renowned and local artists shown at the ECU Art
Gallery.
In near future the Art Department will move in
the $20 million Hallie Brown Ford Fine Arts Center, currently
under construction. In addition to new studio space, a large art
gallery in the new building will allow us to expand our
exhibition schedule.
