ADA – The Third Annual Addiction and Recovery Conference, presented by the Brandon Whitten Institute for Addiction and Recovery, will be held on Thursday and Friday, Sept. 5-6, at East Central University’s Estep Multimedia Room in the Bill S. Cole University Center.

The conference will focus on current issues, trends and strategies in the field of substance abuse. Information will be presented on addiction recovery, treatment and prevention.

This workshop is appropriate for counselors and other behavioral health clinicians who work with substance abuse, mental health and co-occurring populations, prevention specialists, peer recovery support specialists, teachers and school officials, students who desire to work in any related field, law enforcement and any other students, parents or community members who want to learn more about addiction and recovery.

Early bird registration is $75 for the community and $85 at the door. The cost for ECU employees and students is $15.
