The top graduates were named by East Central University's Department of Business Administration and scholarships were presented to students in an awards ceremony this spring.

Distinguished Business Administration Graduate awards were presented to Matt Harp of Ada, a business administration/general business major, and Carrie Welch of Stonewall, a business administration/finance major.

Michael Scroggins of Ada received the Outstanding Graduate in Entrepreneurship award, and Ali Johns of Ada received the Outstanding Graduate in Marketing award.

Dakota Cole of Connerville earned the Outstanding Graduate in General Business award. Charity Trussell of Mill Creek was named the Outstanding Graduate in Management Information Systems.

Kyle Gardner of Oklahoma City received the Outstanding Graduate in Management award. The Outstanding Graduate in Finance was Mindy Long of Shawnee.

Scholarship recipients were Jesse Allen, an accounting major from Ada, the Lee Horne Business Administration Scholarship; Talina Tidmore, a business administration/finance major from Valliant, Citizens Bank of Ada Scholarship; and John DeMoss, a business administration/finance major from Ada, First United Bank Scholarship.

Also, Department of Business Administration Scholarships went to Stephanie Young, a business administration/marketing major from Choctaw, and Cylee Smith, a business administration/management information systems major from Blanchard.

Timothy Vinsant, a business administration/finance major from Greenville, Texas, received the Friends of Eric Steger Business Administration scholarship.
