Twenty-one intersession classes are being offered through East Central University in Ada, beginning May 13 as an opportunity to earn three credit hours in one week rather than the traditional 18-week semester.

Intersession classes are held between the fall, spring and summer semesters. The spring intersession period ends on May 31.
            
Areas of study include biology, political science, business, criminal justice, social work, human resources, nursing, history, geography, sociology, psychology, education, kinesiology, music, humanities, English, art, mass communication and family and consumer sciences.
            
Students may enroll in intersession classes up to the starting day of class.
