A "Salute to Education" day on Saturday [SEPT. 25] will honor area school employees and their families with free admission to the East Central University football game. The ECU Tigers will play the Southwestern Oklahoma State University Bulldogs at 6 p.m. at Norris Field.
ECU President John Hargrave has invited employees of Pontotoc County schools to be guests at the game. They can enter the stadium by showing their school ID cards at the gate.
"We would like to offer free admission to the employees and their families as our way of saying, 'Thank you,'" said ECU President John Hargrave. "We appreciate all they do for our area schools and their support of East Central University."
