The Christmas Tour of Homes on Dec. 7 [MONDAY] will feature four Ada homes decorated for the holidays along with refreshments at East Central University's Hallie Brown Ford Fine Arts Center.

Photos of the houses to be touredThe homes will be open from 5 to 8 p.m. Ada High School's ProStart culinary arts students will provide refreshments at the fine arts center during the tour.

Participants can visit the homes of Steve and Jeanetta Bagwell, 115 E. Kings Rd.; Tom and Charlee Lanis, 530 S. Highland; Michael and Allyson McElroy, 13691 CR 3520; and Bart and Shannon Reed, 211 W. Kings Rd.

Tickets are $10 per person for tours on their own. For $15, transportation provided. Buses will leave the Hallie Brown Ford Fine Arts Center at 5:15 p.m. and take participants to each home.

Tickets may be purchased in advance at the Ada Area Chamber of Commerce at 209 W. Main, Arvest Bank at 930 N. Country Club, or by calling East Central University at 559-5873. Tickets also may be purchased the night of the tour at the Hallie Brown Ford Fine Arts Center.

Proceeds from ticket sales will benefit the children of Ada through Project Invest. Project Invest is a program of ECU's Child Care Resource & Referral Agency and Smart Start South Central designed to increase community awareness and support of local child care programs.

Ada has 26 child care centers and family child care homes that care for approximately 1,000 children each day. Funds raised from the tour will provide grants to enhance the early learning experiences for the children, said Cheryl Bell, coordinator of the CCRRA.
