Students from approximately 60 high schools will compete Tuesday morning [FEB. 14] in the 96th annual Interscholastic Meet at East Central University. It is the oldest and largest meet in Oklahoma.

Approximately 600 students will take 1,597 tests in categories ranging from accounting to world history.

When students are not taking tests, they can participate in a fine arts fair in the lobby of the Hallie Brown Ford Fine Arts Center, a college majors fair in the Bill Cole University Center and an ECU clubs and organization fair, including tours of campus housing, in the ballroom of the Memorial Student Union.

Schools are divided into three divisions based on their enrollment numbers. The sweepstakes winner in each division is the school with the most points earned by individual winners.

An Interscholastic Art Show will be on exhibit Tuesday through Thursday [FEB. 14-16] in the Pogue Art Gallery in the Hallie Brown Ford Fine Arts Building.
