Terri Talley, a survivor of the 1995 bombing of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building in Oklahoma City, will speak at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 15, at East Central University’s Estep Multimedia Center inside the Bill S. Cole University Center.
Talley’s speech is part of the 20th anniversary of the Oklahoma City Bombing in which ECU’s Office of Campus Involvement, along with the other Regional University System of Oklahoma (RUSO) institutions of higher education are actively participating in activities of service, honor and kindness.
An institution service event is being held this Friday at the Oklahoma City Memorial. Acts of kindness are set for Monday and Tuesday, April 13-14, as participants will be joining Willard Elementary School children in Ada for lunch and recess. Participants will also be volunteering before and during the Oklahoma City Memorial Marathon on April 26.
Talley is a business development officer for Allegiance Credit Union (formerly Federal Employees Credit Union) for 27 years. She has worked in various departments throughout her career at Allegiance Credit Union, including the teller area, consumer loans, mortgages and marketing.
Over the past several years, Talley has been presenting seminars on credit score and identity theft to various agencies and businesses and groups throughout the Oklahoma City metro.
