ADA – The Veterans Upward Bound Program, at East Central University, is hosting a Veterans and Military Resource Roundup on Monday, Nov. 18 from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Chickasaw Business and Conference Center on the ECU campus.

The roundup features an informational speed sharing and networking event with service providers in the morning and an afternoon outreach session for veterans, military service members and their families.

This event is free and open to any program, organization and employer which provide services, benefits, or employment for veterans, military service members and their families.

Registration and vendor table setup will begin at 9:30 a.m. Speed sharing will begin promptly at 10 a.m. Each program, organization, employer, otherwise referred to as a ‘vendor’ will have a two-minute opportunity to share information and show one power-point slide. After each program has an opportunity to share, there will be a time of networking. The vendor tables will be open to the public – veterans, military service members and their families from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.

For the convenience of the attendees and to ensure ample time for networking, a boxed lunch will be made available and requires a confirmed pre-paid order. The cost of the boxed lunch is $7.75 and includes a drink, fruit, two cookies, bag of chips, and a sandwich or salad. Purchase of the boxed lunch is not required for participation in the event.

For more information on the event contact Mary Meeks, Veterans Upward Bound Director, at 580-559-5541 or mhuckleb@ecok.edu.
