National Night Out

It's time for the 27th ANNUAL "NATIONAL NIGHT OUT EVENT" at ECU! National Night Out is an annual event designed to strengthen our communities by encouraging neighborhoods to engage in stronger relationships with each other and with their local law enforcement partners. The goal is to heighten crime-prevention awareness, and build support and participation in local anti-crime programs. Last year Chickasaw Nation and ECU received national recognition for the event held on our campus.
The event is FREE to the public and was attended by over 800 people last year. The event will be held at the ECU Plaza (between University Center and Student Union) in search of more shade for the evening hours. There will be games, entertainment, food, and lots of opportunity to increase awareness about local programs. Remember, the best part is that it is FREE!

In order to provide the highest level of service to the campus community, the computing and networking systems maintained by Information Technology require occasional downtime. To minimize the need for outages while classes are in session, Information Technology is planning scheduled downtime during which systems and networking services (e.g. email and web services) will not be guaranteed to be available.
Although certain services will be available during all or parts of the scheduled downtimes, departments are encouraged to plan accordingly and not to be dependent on the services during the times listed below.
