Why Formal Recruitment?

Formal Recruitment is a great opportunity to come to campus early, meet many new people, move into your residence hall, and spend a concentrated amount of time with the National Panhellenic Chapters at East Central University.

Formal Recruitment is a mutual choice opportunity.  Never is there another setting to meet every chapter and spend an equal amount of time with each.  You will have time to ask specific questions of the chapters and the Recruitment staff.

Registration and Formal Recruitment does not obligate you to join a sorority.  If you decide this is not for you or perhaps the timing is just not right, you always have the choice to withdraw from formal recruitment.  There is no pressure.  We want you to make an informed decision.

Formal Recruitment is the medium for being well informed.  Quite simply, it is the best!
