If you develop any of the signs or symptoms of meningitis, you should seek medical attention immediately. These symptoms include:

Fever, Chills, sweating
Headache
Irritability
Eyes sensitive to light
Stiff neck
Vomiting
Red or purple skin rash
Confusion, lethargy, drowsiness, unconsciousness

If you have any of these signs or symptoms seek medical attention immediately at any Emergency Room, ECU Health Services, or other health care provider.
