If you develop any of the signs or symptoms of meningitis, you should seek medical attention immediately. These symptoms include:
- Fever, Chills, sweating
- Headache
- Irritability
- Eyes sensitive to light
- Stiff neck
- Vomiting
- Red or purple skin rash
- Confusion, lethargy, drowsiness, unconsciousness
If you have any of these signs or symptoms seek medical attention immediately at any Emergency Room, ECU Health Services, or other health care provider.
