Auditions for A Little Night Music, 3:00-6:00pm, Chalmers Herman Theatre
Auditions for our February show, Stephen Sondheim’s A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC will be Monday and/or Tuesday, Nov. 2 and 3 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. in the Chalmers Herman Theatre of the Hallie Brown Ford Fine Arts Center. All students, faculty, and staff are welcome to audition. Preferential casting will go to students we believe can handle the roles, but we are also interested in having more mature, experienced voices in the cast.
We ask that you prepare 16 bars of a song from a Sondheim musical or from an operetta. There will be a sign-up sheet on my office door, Room 111 in the lobby, for audition times beginning tomorrow, October 27, 2009. We may test your range during your audition. Ranges for various roles will also be posted.
If we need them, callbacks will be Thursday, Nov. 5, at a site to be announced. Come and be a part of this season’s history – the first musical theatre production in the Ataloa Theater.
