Tuition Waivers

General enrollment fee tuition waivers are available for all teachers, support staff and administration who work with student's grades 7-12 to attend ECU. ECU waives 2/3 of the teacher's tuition, but the waiver does not cover fees and books. If your district has student teacher waivers, please let us waive the 2/3 and let the school pick up the additional 1/3 with the student teacher waiver. When submitting your fee waivers to TEAM GEAR UP, please make sure that both forms are signed and a copy of your enrollment is attached.

During the 2005-2006 project year, 45 teachers enrolled in a total of 461 credit hours and have received tuition waivers totaling $29,625.68.

Professional Development Opportunities

Schools can also take advantage of professional development offerings through the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education. Such offerings include vertical alignment and EPAS training.

If you learn of professional development opportunities throughout the year, please give us the opportunity to schedule a training for your individual school or for all TEAM GEAR UP Partnership schools.
