Westward Expansion: Preparing Library Media Specialists for Western Oklahoma

The purpose of this program is to take East Central University's Masters in Education with specialization in Library Media Program to Cameron, Northwestern University and Panhandle State University via ITV. Students in Western Oklahoma who wish to enroll in the program need to be admitted to the University. Application may be made through ECU's webpage. The program includes a Summer Institute on ECU's campus. Housing and tuition for the institute will be provided by the grant.

A summer institute is included in the program for students in the Western part of the state. Tuition, room and board and transportation will be funded by the grant. The space for this part of the grant is limited.

Four Ph. D. candidates will be attending North Texas State University to complete the course work required for a degree. Students will be responsible for their own dissertation hours.
