The Horace Mann Society
The first century at ECU has brought many changes to our university and to the College of Education and Psychology. From its inception as a Normal School established to prepare teachers, to our current structure as a university with three academic colleges, a graduate and an honors college, and, an academic Business school, ECU has stood the test of time. As we move into our second century, the College of Education and Psychology, consisting of the Education Department, the Psychology Department, and the Kinesiology Department, desires to be more proactive in responding to needs.
We can no longer count on the funds we need through existing state revenue. We realize that we must increase our external bases of financial support to help us carry out our mission and provide the support we need to remain strong. Please consider your financial support to help us improve our services and support to our students. To provide additional support to our stakeholders we are establishing a College of Education and Psychology Legacy Fund. Gifts to this fund, including those produced from the ECU Horace Mann Society Commemorative Brick Campaign, will provide annual support for educational priorities.
Your gift can memorialize a family member, a friend, or a colleague who has made a difference in your life.
Your gift will make a difference in the life of an ECU student or faculty member.
Your gift will be tax-deductible as a contribution to the East Central University Foundation.
