What is the minimun GPA required for admission to East Central University School of Graduate Studies?
A minimum overall GPA of 2.5 or 2.75 for the last 60 hours is required for standard admission. For more information on requirements for admission click here.
What is the status of my admission application?

Does the School of Graduate Studies require a GRE?
Admission to the School of Graduate Studies does not require a GRE. However, all departments do require testing within the first 12 hours of the program. Failure to complete testing before the deadline will result in a hold on your account. For specific information please contact your department.

Where can I obtain an application for graduation?
The graduation packet can be picked up at the School of Graduate Studies located at Room 102 Fentem Hall, McAlester Higher Education Center, Ardmore Higher Education Center or Gordon Cooper Technology Center.
How do I obtain credit for graduate classes I took during the Junior and Senior years of college as an undergraduate?
Students are allowed to take up to 12 hours of graduate credit before being accepted into the school. We suggest talking to the class instructors prior to enrolling.

9 hrs is full-time
4-8 is half-time
13 or more hrs - Graduate Dean approval required
Regents Absolute Maximum - 16 hrs (Requires Academic Affairs approval to override-use form that can be found on Admissions & Records webpage under forms)

2-3 hrs is half-time
11-15 hrs - Graduate Dean approval required
