Chesapeake Cartography Scholarships
(up to $1,500) Deadline: September 15, 2008

Applicants from each of the four class standings (freshman, sophomore, junior, and senior) for the next Fall Semester who best meet or exceed the following criteria will be awarded a Chesapeake Cartography Scholarship.

All students Enroll in at least 12 credit hours for the upcoming semester. Enroll in courses that make progress toward a degree in Cartography. Possess a minimum GPA of 3.25 (on a 4.00 scale). A letter of application describing why the student feels she/he is deserving of being a Chesapeake Scholar. College transcript (if applicable). Additional consideration will be given to those majors whose concentration is in Geotechniques. Additional consideration will be given to those majors who are in the ECU Honors Program.

Additionally, students not currently enrolled at East Central University shall provide the following: High school transcript. ACT or SAT scores. Letter of recommendation from an educator.
