Family and Consumer Sciences
Scholarships

    Entering freshmen are encouraged to apply for the Family and Consumer Sciences Department Trease Layton Academic Award, while sophomores may apply for the Grace George Scholarship. Scholarship grants for qualifying upper-classmen in Family and Consumer Sciences are available through the Francisco-Hatchett Endowment. The Grace Hyder Richmond Award is a monetary award given to the student judged each year by the Family and Consumer Sciences faculty to be the outstanding Family and Consumer Sciences senior.
