EDUCATION: Ms. Underwood is a graduate of East Central University, Department of Nursing, December, 2004. She was appointed to the National Advisory Council on Nursing Education and Practice as the student representative in the Spring of 2004. Gina is also a member of the Oklahoma Nurses Association and the American Nurses Association.

EMPLOYMENT: Gina works full-time for the Chickasaw Nation, Carl Albert Indian Health Facility, Ada, Oklahoma in the emergency department.

PERSONAL INFORMATION: Gina is 1/2 Mississippi Choctaw and is very proud of her Native American heritage. She is married and has two beautiful children. Gina decided to purse a degree in nursing because of the exciting stories that her mother told when she was an ECU nursing student.
