Academic Achievement Award:

This award is bestowed upon the three graduating senior Math majors with the highest GPA. The award carries no cash value; the recipients' names are engraved on a plaque on display in the department showcase. Awardees will be informed by the Math Department Chair, Dr. Linda Braddy and/or by Math Department faculty. There is no application. 

E.O. Box Memorial Scholarship:

This scholarship is awarded annually to the student with the highest Math GPA, from among those students who are Math majors and will be seniors in the Fall semester of the academic year in which the award is given. Recent scholarship amounts have been up to $900. Awardees will be informed by the Math Department Chair, Dr. Linda Braddy and/or by Math Department faculty. There is no application.

James O. Danley Memorial Scholarship:

This scholarship is awarded annually to a few (usually two or three) students. To be eligible, applicants must be Math majors, have completed at least 45 semester hours of work at ECU at the time of the application, have an overall GPA of 2.5 or better, and have no grade lower than C. Recent awards have been up to $500. Awardees will be informed by the Math Department Chair, Dr. Linda Braddy and/or by Math Department faculty. Kate K. Knight Memorial Scholarship:

This scholarship is awarded annually to a single student. To be eligible, applicants must be high school seniors who have applied for admission to ECU and intend to pursue a major in Mathematics. Recent awards have been up to $400. Awardees will be informed by the Math Department Chair, Dr. Linda Braddy and/or by Math Department faculty. Darrell Terrell Memorial Scholarship:

This scholarship is awarded annually to a single student. To be eligible, applicants must be Math majors, have completed at least 15 semester hours of work at ECU at the time of the application, have an overall GPA of 2.5 or better, and have no grade lower than C. Recent awards have been up to $200. Awardees will be informed by the Math Department Chair, Dr. Linda Braddy and/or by Math Department faculty.
