Welcome to ECU's Center of Continuing Education and Community Services

Mission

The mission of The Center of Continuing Education and Community Services is to provide life-long learning opportunities for the campus, surrounding communities, and in some instances, statewide. This program extends the University's resources to all members of the community and acts as a bridge between scholar and citizen. Working with other academic departments, state agencies, and specific professional groups, The Center of Continuing Education and Community Services offers non-credit classes through a variety of programs, which are direct or immediate responses to the needs of the public. The Center of Continuing Education also delivers select credit classes to various segments of the University's public through Graduate Workshops and Seminars. Finally, the Center provides various service-oriented programs which are designed to meet the community's needs.
