ECU Scholarship Opportunities
Oklahoma Academic (Automatic Qualifier) -- National ACT 33 or above with a cut score of 133 or above)
Full Tuition waiver, semi-private room waiver ($848) and $2000 per semester for four years.
Regent Baccalaureate (National ACT 30 and have above a 3.0 GPA)
Full tuition waiver, semi-private room waiver ($848) and $1500 per semester for four years. 15 available.
Oklahoma Academic (Institutional Nominee with a National ACT 30 or if less than an ACT 30 have above or a 3.8 GPA or above and in the top 4% of their graduating class or a 3.8 GPA or above and first or second in their graduation class.
Full Tuition waiver, semi-private room waiver ($848), book voucher (amount determined by the ECU Foundation) and $1000 per semester for four years. 5 available.
Presidential Plus (ACT 28 or above and 3.0 GPA)
Full Tuition waiver and semi-private room waiver ($848) per semester for four years.
Presidential with Room (ACT 26 or 27 and 3.0 GPA)
$1000 per year ($500 per semester) tuition waiver and semi-private room waiver ($848) per semester for four years.
Presidential (ACT 25 and 3.0 GPA)
$1000 per year ($500 per semester) tuition waiver for four years.
Deans (ACT 23 or 24 and 3.0 GPA)
$750 per year ($375 per semester) tuition waiver for one year (must re-apply for a Continuing Student Scholarship after the first year.)
University (ACT 21 or 22 and 3.0 GPA)
$500 per year ($250 per semester) tuition waiver for one year (must re-apply for a Continuing Student Scholarship after the first year.)
Room Waiver (ACT 26 or above)
$848 semi-private room waiver per semester for four years.
Non-Resident (not a Oklahoma Resident) Student must be admissible to the University, live in campus housing and enrolled as a full time student. (Full time is 12 hours or more per semester.)
Full waiver of Non-Resident tuition (Students will continue to receive this waiver as long as they are academically in good standing and live in campus housing.)
Students will be exempt from living in campus housing for the following reasons:
- 21 years of age or older
- Married
- Have children
- Extenuating Circumstances -- must submit reasons in writing to the Dean of Students.
Note: All fees and meal plans are not included with tuition or room waivers.
The room waiver is equivalent to a semi-private room rate ($848 per semester for this academic year) in our lowest cost residence halls (ex. Briles, Pesagi and Pontotoc Halls) on the campus of ECU.
To continue receiving the four-year scholarship, a student must meet the minimum retention GPA required each year.
To continue receiving the one-year scholarship, a student must re-apply annually.
All scholarships are not automatic and are awarded based on the availability of funds.
Tuition, Fees, Books, Room and Board may increase each academic year.

ECU Non-Resident Waiver Application
This waiver is available to incoming freshmen, transfer students as well as continuing students. Students MUST live in campus housing to utilize this waiver.

ECU Alumni Association Scholarship
For Juniors and seniors
Applicants must have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.5 and have
completed 60 hours as of 1/04/2010. Applications can be picked up in the
Sterling L. Williams Foundation & Alumni Center.
Completed applications are due by 5pm, Monday, March 1, 2010.
