your Good News! Elizabeth Keiffer (class of ’05) writes: I completed my masters in
mathematics [at the University of Arkansas] this past summer and now I'm
working on my doctorate in educational statistics and research methods. I'm
a GA for the Ed Stat program. I'm helping with the evaluation of an NSF
GK-12 Grant that puts graduate "science" students into middle school
classrooms as "resident scientists" to increase students’ knowledge of what
"scientists" actually do. It's great and I've learned a lot!

Watterson (2006; seen left) majored in biology and minored in chemistry. He
currently works at the Robert S. Kerr Environmental Research Center in Ada
and plans to attend OU in the fall, where he hopes to play in the band and apply for dental school.
