Displays and Exhibits
The Linscheid Library frequently hosts a variety of displays and exhibits deemed of interest to East Central University and the surrounding community. Consequently, displays and exhibits in the library should reflect the mission of the University, supporting themes and subjects of an educational or cultural nature. Campus groups are welcome to request that the library house a display or exhibit that would be of general interest. Such requests should be addressed to the Outreach Librarian. Decisions to grant or refuse such requests will be made in consultation with the library faculty, and in consideration of the appropriateness of the material, balanced with the principle of intellectual/artistic freedom. Library bulletin boards likewise should emphasize materials of informational, educational and cultural interest. Announcements by campus groups of events and activities may also be included. Postings are subject to approval by library staff, and subject to the availability of space. Commercial advertising is not permitted.
