Library Security Log
A copy of the Linscheid Library Security Log form can be found at the Circulation or Reference desk.
In order to ensure that all library materials are properly checked out, Linscheid Library patrons are asked to use the public entrance/exit, which is monitored by an anti-theft book detection system.
The library book detection system and emergency exit doors are alarmed so that staff will be alerted when unauthorized exits are being made.
Linscheid Library reserves the right to record the name and identification number of any patron who triggers the alarm on the book detection system or on any of the emergency exits. The Library may further attempt to secure disciplinary action against any patron who repeats this infraction. A major factor in any Library action is whether a clear attempt has been made to circumvent security measures.
