Rules

  1. In order to maintain the appropriate environment for study and research, the following are not permitted in the library:

      • Use of tobacco
      • Disruptive behavior
      • Animals (with the exception of those assisting the disabled).

        Note: Beverages in covered containers and packaged
        snack foods permitted except at computers and
        in other designated areas.

  2. An ECU I.D. card is required to check out materials.
  3. Oklahoma residents 16 years of age or older may apply for a community borrower's card. Persons under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian sign before being issued a card.
  4. A community borrower who has any overdues or charges is not allowed to check out additional materials.
  5. Doors will be locked at 10 minutes before closing time.
  6. Materials must be checked out by 10 minutes before closing time.
  7. Persons who set off any library security alarm may be required to read and sign a statement to that effect.
  8. Notices, posters, and advertising materials are permitted on bulletin boards only with approval of the library administration for a period not to exceed two weeks.
  9. Student workers are not allowed to make exceptions to these rules.
