BRONSON WARREN SCHOLARSHIP AT ECU
Bronson Warren (left), dean of students at East Central University in Ada, congratulates the first recipients of the Bron Warren Scholarship, ECU band students Bethany Ragle (center) of Stroud and Darren Heath of Midwest City. The scholarship was established at ECU last year to honor Bron Warren, a former drum major for the Ada High School Marching Band and a member of the ECU Band, who passed away in 2010. He was the son of Allene and Bronson Warren. The scholarship is funded by proceeds from an annual marching band contest, the ECU Tigerpalooza – Bron Warren Tournament of Bands, which was established in 2010.
