MCALESTER STUDENTS RECEIVE SCHOLARSHIPS AT ECU
 

 Megan Sherrill of McAlester (left) is awarded the Richard E. Baumgartner Graduate Scholarship at East Central University by Dr. Linda Massey, associate professor of human resources. The presentation was made at the annual awards and recognitions program hosted by ECU’s Human Resources Department. Scholarships for both a graduate and undergraduate student honor Baumgartner, the former chair of ECU’s Human Resources Department who died in 2004.

  Amy Shouse (left) of McAlester receives the Natashia Wright Scholarship at East Central University from Wayne McElhannon, director of ECU’s Collegiate Officer Program. Shouse was honored at the annual awards and recognitions program hosted by ECU’s Human Resources Department. Wright, the daughter of Norma and Wayne Wright of McAlester, died in a traffic accident in 2002. She was a member of the Ada Police Department and graduated from ECU and the first Oklahoma Police Corps Academy.
