AROUND THE WORLD WITH ROTARACT TO HELP POLIO, MALARIA VICTIMS
The Rotaract club at East Central University will host its annual fund raiser Tuesday [APRIL 13] for victims of malaria and polio in Nigeria and India.
Around the World with Rotaract will be held in the Bill S. Cole University Center from 6 to 8 p.m. All students, staff and faculty are invited to attend and to bring a community member with them.
A silent auction will be held of items from the many countries represented at ECU and in the Ada community. International students and community members will dress in traditional attire as part of the international showcase of cultures.
Information booths, sample foods and cultural presentations will all be part of the evening festivities.
Around the World with Rotaract is aimed at supporting the club's plan to donate money to aid with Rotary's malaria project in Nigeria and India. For further information, contact Arlie Daniel at 559-5214 or Robert Greenstreet at 559-5485.
