Non-Resident Tuition Waiver

Students must live in campus housing.		A transfer student must have attempted at least 24 hours of transfer work with a minimum retention GPA of 2.0.
	International students must score a minimum of 180 on the TOEFL.
Freshman and Transfer students with less than 24 hours attempted must have a cumulative 2.7 GPA and rank in the upper 50% of the graduating class OR a minimum of 20 composite on the ACT or a 940 on the SAT in Math and Critical Reading.		A continuing ECU student must have a minimum retention GPA of 3.0 and successfully completed a minimum of 12 hours at ECU in the previous academic semester.

*Qualifying students can apply for the non-resident tuition waiver in the amount of no less than $2,766 per academic year.

**First semester freshmen and transfer undergraduate students as well as continuing undergraduates and first semester and transfer graduate students must apply for the non-resident tuition waiver prior to the commencement of their first semester at ECU or no later than July 15 of each academic year for continuing students.
