Upward Bound

Eligibility Criteria

Upward Bound serves 110 students from target high schools in the East Central University region and students:

• Attend one of our target schools
• Meet low-income guidelines as determined by the U.S. Department of Education and/or
• Will be a first-generation graduate (neither father nor mother has graduated from a 4 year university)
• U.S. citizen or permanent resident
• Completed the 8th grade and has not entered the 12th grade
• The following gpa's must be met: 1.75 for freshmen, 2.0 for sophomores, 2.5 for juniors
