Holli Witherington




Ms. Witherington earned her Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice (2004) and her Master of Education in School Counseling (2008) from East Central University. Among the certifications she holds are Oklahoma Licensed Professional Counselor; Oklahoma Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor; and SASSI, Addiction Severity Index and Patient Placement Criteria of the American Society of Addiction Medicine certification. She is a board member of the Oklahoma Board for Licensed Alcohol & Drug Counselors. Ms. Witherington has served as an Adjunct Instructor teaching Counseling courses in the Human Resources Department at East Central University from August 2010 to the present. She has also been employed full-time as the Director of the Brandon Whitten Institute for Addiction and Recovery at East Central University from February 2011 to the present. Her work experience in counseling includes Contract Counselor for Hartsell Psychological Services in Tishomingo from 2009 to 2011, Alcohol and Drug Counselor/Case Manager for Tri-City Substance Abuse Center, Inc., in Ada from 2005 to 2009, and Probation and Parole Office I for the Oklahoma Department of Corrections from 2004 to 2005.
