John D. Carl

Dr. Carl earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Oklahoma in 1985. He completed a Master of Divinity at St. Meinrad School of Theology in 1990 and a Master of Social Work at the University of Oklahoma in 1995. He earned his Doctor of Philosophy in Sociology at the University of Oklahoma in 2002. Dr. Carl has been employed at Rose State College from 2001 to 2013. He taught Sociology and Social Work at Rose State College. In 2011 he was appointed Associate Dean of the Social Sciences Division at Rose State College and in 2012 added the position of Co-Coordinator of Institutional Assessment to his responsibilities. Additional, he taught in the Sociology Department at the University of Oklahoma as an Adjunct Professor from time to time and served as an Adjunct Professor at Oklahoma City Community College in 2000-2001. Professionally, he worked as a Licensed Clinical Social worker at Norman Regional Hospital from 1999 to 2001 and at J. D. McCarty Center in Norman from 1995 to 1999.
