Katy L. Seals


Assistant Professor,

Ms. Seals earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Studio Art from University of Mary-Hardin Baylor in 2008. She earned her Master of Fine Arts in Printmaking from the University of Oklahoma in 2012. Ms. Seals was the Front of House/Custom Designer at Massive Graphics in Norman, Oklahoma during 2012. Previously, she was a Teaching Assistant at the University of Oklahoma from 2009 to 2012. She was the instructor of record for Relief Printmaking, Beginning Lithography, Serigraphy, and Introduction to Bookmaking during this period. She demonstrated strong capabilities in Printmaking and Drawing and has an admirable exhibition record. Ms. Seals possesses exceptional skills in printmaking, including silkscreen, etching and intaglio, lithography, and relief printing. She employs computer programs such as Photoshop in her work. Her exhibition record consists of a substantial record of regional gallery exhibitions in Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas and Missouri.
