Professor Edward Hobbs is a former graduate of ECU and is now a Professor of Accounting and Taxation in the School of Business. He earned his Master’s in Taxation from the University of Denver in May 1990. His research has been in the field of taxation. Mr. Hobbs is involved with the Accounting Club, and a member of the Kiwanis Club of Greater Ada. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Ada Chapter of CPAs. Mr. Hobbs has been featured several times in Taxes Tax Magazine. The courses Mr. Hobbs instructs are Income Tax Accounting, Advanced Income Tax Accounting, Financial Accounting, Accounting Information Systems and Public Tax Preparation. Outside of ECU he enjoys spending time with his family.
