    To celebrate the 2009 International Year of Astronomy and East Central University's Centennial, ECU's Society of Physics Students will host a free public lecture on astronomy at 7 p.m. Friday [April 17] in the Estep Multimedia Center in the University Center.

    Dr. Bill Romanishin of the University of Oklahoma will discuss "Boy Beyond Neptune: A look at the amazing discoveries in the outer solar system in the last 10 years."

    East Central University's Rotaract Club and International Student Connection is hosting an international fair Tuesday [APRIL 7], from 6 - 8 p.m. in the Stanley Wagner Ballroom.

    Both domestic and international artifacts will be on display, many of which will be available for purchase via a silent auction.

    The Fifty-Fourth Annual Student Exhibition is underway in East Central University's Art Department and includes a number of works recently featured in the Momentum Oklahoma City Exhibit.

    The show includes ceramics, drawings, digital images, paintings, prints, sculpture and watercolors, all works from the students' various fields of study.
