Chesapeake Cartography Scholarships
($500 to $1,000)
Each year, up to eight students who best meet or exceed the following criteria will be awarded a Chesapeake Cartography Scholarship.
The student must be a major in Cartography and attained at least sophomore class standing for the academic year the scholarship is awarded. A minimum of 12 credit hours must be taken each semester, with the courses enrolled ensuring progress toward the degree. A minimum GPA of 3.25 (on a 4.00 scale) is required. A letter of application describing why the student feels she/he is deserving of being a Chesapeake Scholar is also required.
Additional consideration will be given to majors whose concentration is in Geotechniques, as well as to those major in the ECU Honors Program.
