School Psychologist Certificate in Psychological Services – 1000

Applicant must hold and maintain a valid Standard Teaching Certificate in Early Childhood, Elementary, Elementary/Secondary, or Secondary or applicant must have completed course work in the teaching of mathematics. These courses shall have been followed by a one hundred twenty (120) clock hour pre-professional field experience in regular education and special education. Applicant must hold a Master's Degree in one of the following areas: General Psychology, Special Education, Child Psychology, Educational Psychology, School Counseling, or a related area.

School Psychologist Certificate candidates will be eligible to complete the OSAT certification exams for School Psychologist (033) and Psychometrist (034). School Psychologist certificate student will only be eligible to seek state LPC licensure if they hold a Master’s Degree in an area related to mental health and accepted by the state LPB licensure board. Minimum total sixty (60) semester credit hours, including course work in the following program of study are required.

School Psychometrist Certificate in Psychological Services – 1010

Applicants must hold a Master’s Degree in one of the following areas:  General Psychology, Special Education, Child Psychology, Educational Psychology, School Counseling, or related counseling area. School Psychometrist Certificate candidates will be eligible to complete the OSAT certification exam for Psychometrist (034). Minimum total of thirty (30) semester credit hours, including course work in the following program of study are required.
