The Criminal Justice Program at ECU supports the university’s mission by providing a student-centered learning environment that values shared human experiences and prepares students for success in a constantly evolving society.

Offering a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice, the program is designed to equip students with the academic and practical skills needed for entry-level careers in government and private sector agencies.

Program Highlights

  • Choose from three concentrations tailored to your career goals:

    • Adult Corrections

    • Juvenile Justice

    • Law Enforcement

  • Curriculum emphasizes critical thinking, ethical decision-making, and professional readiness in diverse social and cultural contexts.

  • Students pursuing the Law Enforcement concentration may participate in the Collegiate Officer Program (COP), which provides the academic foundation and practical training required for certification by the Oklahoma Council on Law Enforcement Education and Training (CLEET).
