Degree Audit Information

Degree Audits, Updates, and Applying for Graduation

Degree Audits
Students should submit a Degree Audit Request form in the Office of Admissions and Records (Room 111 Administration) once they have completed 60 or more credit hours. Requests are processed in the order of receipt and it takes approximately three to four weeks. However, during peak times, such as the beginning or end of a semester, this time may increase. Transfer students should be prepared to supply course descriptions of all courses appearing on their transcript (including withdrawn courses) at the time of admission. These descriptions will be used to determine equivalencies at the time a degree audit is processed. You will be notified via your campus email account once it is ready to be picked up. A copy will also be sent to your advisor.

Note: Degree audits will not be processed for transfer students until they have completed one full semester at ECU.

Degree Audit Updates
Once a calendar year has passed, students should request an updated degree audit. If you change your major or minor before a year has elapsed, you should request an updated degree audit at that time rather than waiting. This process also takes three to four weeks. You will be notified via your campus email once it is ready to be picked up. A copy will also be sent to your advisor.
