Environmental Health Science Major

The Environmental Health Science degree program is an interdisciplinary program which prepares majors for employment in private industries, environmental protection organizations, public health departments, environmental consulting firms and governmental agencies including the Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality, United States Environmental Protection Agency and the United States Public Health Service. EHS graduates, at the B.S. level, are prepared for professional careers in areas such as: water resources management, occupational safety and health, hazardous materials management, environmental program planning, communicable disease control, toxicology, food safety and consumer protection. In addition, the EHS program prepares majors for a wide variety of graduate programs.
