EHS Club Minutes: October 10, 2008
We had a sign up sheet for the club shirts.
We discussed possible times for the group picture and we decided on a Friday at 1:00.
We discussed ideas for a fundraiser:
Concession stand at a basketball game
We discussed applying for money from the grant to help fund a scholarship for a graduating senior.
We had a sign up sheet for recruitment at local high schools. Talked about PowerPoints and other ideas for this.
There will be an Ethics Summit on Wednesday November 5th. There will be a 9:00 and 10:00 session. The topic will be making environmentally sustainable decisions.
October 21 and 22 will be the Health professional meeting in the city. There are sign up sheets on the table.
Next meeting will be November 7th at the same time and place.

We discussed shirt ideas
-Voted between polo shirts and t-shirts
-Ideas for colors and stitching were: white shirt with orange stitching or orange shirt with white stitching or black shirt with orange stitching.

EHS Club Minutes: September 5, 2008
The EHS Club had the first meeting of the semester on Friday, September 5, 2008 at 12noon in 313 Fentem Hall. The minutes for September 5 are as follows:
Dr. Sewell spoke about the Oklahoma Water Plan on Thursday, October 7.
Dr. Weirick spoke about the Ada Area Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day which will be held on Saturday, October 4.
Officers were elected:
President - Danny Ritter
Vice President - Lee McElroy
Secretary - Sarah Enloe
Treasurer - Paul Eaton
Public Information Officer - Elizabeth Bragg
Elaine Rynes from the American Red Cross spoke about community service opportunities. She told us about the Red Cross Club and discussed the benefits of joining. She showed us the Red Cross shirts and sent around a sign up sheet.
Danny spoke about future meeting time, and it was decided to have the meetings on the first Friday of the first full week of each month. We decided that ideas for t-shirts should be submitted by Friday, September 12. We also talked about the dues, and we decided they would be $20 for the year and that includes a shirt and the senior meal. Dues will be do before or at the next meeting.
Dr. Sewell then spoke about the water meeting in Oklahoma City on October 28 - 30. They are going to try to have transportation back and forth during this time.
