Congrats and Welcome!

Join us for the official start of your journey at Tiger Welcome Orientation Week. We cannot wait for you to experience all ECU has to offer as you achieve your educational goals.

Tiger WOW was created to help your transition to Tigerland be a success. All incoming freshmen are expected to participate in Tiger WOW. During WOW, you will learn more about your academic program, opportunities to be involved on campus, and our community.

Tiger WOW begins with move-in the Saturday before classes and continues throughout the first week of class. See the full schedule below.

Don’t miss this great opportunity to meet new people, get connected to your ECU family, and have fun!

Off-Campus/Commuter Students

You are an important part of the campus community, and we hope this event will help strengthen your connection. Your ECU experience begins at 1:30 on Saturday, August 17, with Tiger WOW Check-In. WOW is your opportunity to meet and get to know your fellow students, campus resources, and the faculty and staff-all of which plays a crucial role in your success at ECU. Take advantage of Tiger WOW to make your ECU experience great (full schedule below).

Parents & Families

ECU understands that a student coming to college is a transition for the whole family! We want to make sure that everyone feels welcomed as part of the ECU community, so some events are planned with you in mind. Families are invited and encouraged to attend the New Student Convocation and the Parent's Reception that follow Residence Hall Check-In. The reception is a great opportunity to meet other ECU parents, ECU administrators, and be able to learn more about campus resources and programs.

Families are expected to make departure arrangements after the reception concludes, and the student-only portion of the Tiger WOW schedule will begin late Saturday afternoon.
