Two big events, hosted by the East Central University Alumni Association, will take place during ‘A Super Tiger Homecoming 2012’ weekend on Oct. 5-6.

The annual homecoming golf tournament, a four-person scramble, is scheduled for the Oak Hills Golf and Country Club in Ada on Friday, Oct. 5. The entry fee is $125 per person with a $5 mulligan fee (limit of four mulligans per team).

The golf outing begins with a burger lunch from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The lunch is free for the paid golfers and $10 each for non-golfers. Registration for the golf tournament is from noon until 1 p.m. with a shotgun start for the event set for 1 p.m.

Sponsorship packages are also available for the golf tournament.

On Saturday, Oct. 6, the ECU Alumni Association will host its annual homecoming 5-kilometer run at 8 a.m. at Wintersmith Park in Ada. The pre-registration fee is $25 per person prior to race day and $30 on race day. A 2012 homecoming t-shirt will be provided to each runner who pre-registers for the race.
